It will be a plastic piece on the bottom of the steering column. Stick a flat blade between the steel and the plastic and twist and it will come right out. That is after the intermediate shaft has been removed.

If you grab the wheel in the 3 & 6 o'clock position and push the wheel up and down it makes the same noise when driving down the road.
