I want to get the "L&L" fenderwell headers but im scared of clearance issues. The (L&L) web site says that a body lift is required.

L&L say's the body lift is needed because the steering column on those trucks stick through the firewall farther. The lift is needed so the steering shaft won't hit the headers. I have owned both brands of headers.
